The Inn is perfect for those who like the red-brick vibe of the historical but want decided modernity in their accommodation.
The location couldn’t be better, perched at the top of an oceanfront park with pier access right outside.
With impeccable service and many opportunities for a complimentary beverage, you’ll be toasting the sunset from your private little sea tower in no time.

This Charleston boutique hotel is part renovated historic warehouse, and if you’re truly passionate about the Charleston experience, book a room in the historic wing.
You’ll get high ceilings, exposed brick and some serious vibes.
Other rooms range from Traditional Queen to Premium King, which includes a stunning furnished balcony. The two rooms of the Landmark suite offer both a sumptuous King bed and a gorgeously furnished sitting room.
The decor throughout elegantly walks the line between romantic and nautical. Soft blues, whites and grays feel like they were pulled from the sea, while clever decorative touches of yellow patterns and warm wood make the rooms feel friendly.
Each room comes with a chic waffle weave robe, mini-fridges, 49″ TVs, and sound machines. The bathrooms are gray and white tile with My Earth toiletries and luxurious rain showers you could spend all morning in.

With no restaurant on-site, breakfast is a high-end continental with fresh local pastries. The inn offers complimentary snacks and beverages all day.
This includes endless coffee, milk and cookies, and a wine and cheese reception you won’t want to miss.
You can enjoy these in the room, but you wouldn’t want to miss the rooftop terrace. The gorgeous, sunny patio with craft cocktail service, invites you to watch the sea move, chat with other guests, or plan the next day’s adventures.
You’ll have access to a fitness studio as well, though we recommend borrowing the inn’s bicycles if you want to get your heart rate up.
The League of American Bicyclists officially declared Charleston Bicycle Friendly, and it’s the best way to explore the nearby area.

The Harbourview Inn is perfectly situated at the top of Waterfront Park, in front of a lovely half-covered pier.
Inland, you’re in the heart of the city, with cute cafés, hip bars and high class restaurants just around the corner.
The French Quarter has museums and historical spots woven into its charming streets. King Street, the area with the most bustle, will be a ten-minute walk away. The City Market is also ten minutes and is a must-explore.
There’s much more history and some stellar museums a bit further out, but anyone will wheels will want to branch out.
Fort Sumter and Fort Johnson are both historical spots accessible by road, traveling over a maze of waterways and gorgeous landscapes.

”It’s our own fault for going during a holiday week, but the area directly in front of the hotel gets a lot of foot traffic. I realize this is completely outside the control of the hotel, but if you book during a busy period, just know that the fountain gets a lot of kids, the gelato shop gets lines of customers, the pub nearby has gaggles of people loitering in front wondering if they should go in. Sartre was right!….”
”My only suggestion would be to add brighter light to the room…..”
